Frosta also is home to historic sites of national importance, such as Norway’s oldest court, Frostating, the Logtun church from the middle ages, and the ruins of a monastery built in 1207.

Frosta is known locally as Trondheim’s vegetable garden due to the high quality and variety of fresh vegetables grown here.   The strawberries and potatoes must be the world’s best.
